Our chefs are the beating heart of this event. From the original three guys who came down to cook on a grill outside the Winsor House in Duxbury eight years ago (Jeremy Sewall, Jamie Bissonette, and Greg Reeves) to the thirty that will turn out for this year's festival, the chefs turn out the crowds. We'll let you in on a little secret--our baby oysters grow better in the hatchery when we play good music for them 24hrs a day (and they slow down when its country... you be the judge). Through our travels shucking at South by Southwest, Newport Folk Festival, Governor's Ball, and even in Willie Nelson's backyard we've become firm believers that good food and good music go hand in hand. For last few years most Friday nights in the summer you could find us shucking oysters on the back deck of the ICA's gorgeous spot on Boston Harbor. We've taken the show on the road to NYC and even down to Art Basel in Miami and it turns out that people who like oysters, love art. This year we've joined forces with ICA to bring you a smashing interactive art component to this year's festival.
